What are your deposit and cancellation policies?
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival and will be automatically taken with the credit card on file.
Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to arrival date will receive a refund of deposits, minus $100 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival.
There are no refunds for early departures, personal emergencies, or weather-related items. Get peace of mind and consider Trip insurance.
What are the check-in procedures?
Check-in is at the Hilton Head Accommodations office located at:
20 Executive Park Road, Suite #200, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm; Sat 2pm – 8pm; Sun 10am – 5pm
*After hours arrival please call The Hilton Head Accommodations Office during business hours at (843) 842-6556 ext.110 for Night Box Code. If checking in after hours, please remember to stop by the office the next day to register.
Saturday Check-In is at 6 PM. Check out is at 10 AM.
Are the accommodations pet friendly?
Our accommodations cannot accommodate pets.
What is included with our accommodation?
All rentals are supplied with linens and towel sets based on the property’s maximum number of occupants. All rentals come with starter supplies such as soap, kitchen detergent, paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, and laundry detergent. Plan to purchase more based on your needs and stay length.
Do we need a car pass?
Sands Village guests receive one car pass. There are no additional passes available. There is no assigned parking, it is on a first come first serve basis. Please display your car pass in your vehicle at all times.
When is the pool open?
The Sands community pool is seasonal and is open April through September from dusk to dawn. Please read the pool rules and policies displayed in the pool area.
What should I bring on my vacation?
* Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas – they are not provided but there are several companies that rent them out or they can be purchased on the island.
* Grocery items if you plan to cook in the accommodations.
* Personal toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, etc.)
Can you bring portable grills?
Portable grills are not allowed. Sands Village has community grills by the pool on the lagoon side.
Can we rent bikes through Hilton Head Accommodations?
We do not rent out bikes, however, there are several bike rental companies on the island such as Cross Island Bike Rentals: (843) 384-7371 or Hilton Head Outfitters: (843) 593-9110.
Do you have cribs or additional beds?
Hilton Head Accommodations currently does not have additional beds or cribs. We recommend Baby’s Away Hilton Head for baby and beach rentals: 843-681-8722
